Background & Approach

My professional journey began in special education, where I learned to truly see and support each person’s unique needs. That experience naturally led me into counseling. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals of all ages across various organizations, including schools, hospitals, the military and private practice.

My approach is strengths-based and flexible, drawing from somatic, brain-based, and psychodynamic therapies. I’m trained in Brainspotting and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), which are gentle, brain-body approaches that help process deeper emotional experiences and support healing. I focus on helping regulate the nervous system while moving at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. My style is warm and collaborative. We’ll explore what you’re going through, build on your strengths, and find practical ways to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected in your daily life.
